Sintered Magnesia
Sintered magnesia is a kind of material used for making magnesium monolithic refractory. It is made of magnesite through light burning, fine grinding, pressing ball and sintering in high-temperature kiln. Sintered magnesia has little amount of impurities, high bulk density and sound anti-slag performance.
Sintered magnesia is made of superfine magnesite and first-grade magnesite which are manufactured through a series of process. Due to the high bulk density and sound anti-slag performance, sintered magnesia can be applied to making monolithic refractory. By the way, the magnesium monolithic refractory includes gunning refractory, ramming refractory, castable refractory and refractory mortar, which are mainly applied to the making and fixing of high temperature furnaces’ bottom and lining.
